Artificial Image Generator

This is a piece of interactive art that ridicules AI artists, denies that the product of generative AI can be art and denies the authorship of the person who writes the prompt over the image created by the program.

Generative AIs are complex algorithms that generate the array of pixels that is statistically more likely to make the person who trained the model give it a thumbs up based on your prompt. This program has a simple algorithm that uses the text you write as the seed to generate a pseudorandom array of colors. The output that these programs generate is completely dependent on the input you provide, but they are both black boxes that take some text and turn it into an image at the other end.

It does not matter if it is this random set of colored squares or a statistically averaged image of a landscape generated from other people's stolen paintings. You did the exact same work on both of them and none of the final images are the result of that work.
